Description

Juicy garlic butter steak bites cooked to perfection with crispy golden potatoes in one skillet, rich, comforting, and packed with bold flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1.5 pounds baby potatoes, whole or halved
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 whole garlic cloves, lightly crushed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. Season the steak cubes evenly with salt and black pepper.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and allow it to heat until shimmering.
  4. Add the baby potatoes to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and fork-tender, about 15 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the steak bites and sear for 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned and just cooked through.
  6. Reduce the heat to medium-low, add the butter and garlic cloves, and stir until the butter melts and the garlic becomes fragrant.
  7. Return the potatoes to the skillet and toss everything together until coated in garlic butter.
  8. Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Pat the steak dry before cooking to achieve a better sear.
  • Do not overcrowd the skillet, cook in batches if needed.
