- 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic with butter and set aside. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Add olive oil to the skillet and swirl to coat.
- Add shrimp in a single layer and sear for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and golden.
- Add the garlic butter mixture to the skillet and stir constantly until melted and fragrant, about 1–2 minutes.
- Remove from heat, add lemon juice, and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately with crusty bread, pasta, or rice.
Notes
- Do not overcook the shrimp to keep them tender.
- Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
- Garnish with extra parsley for a pop of color.
