Description

A fast and flavorful dish made with juicy shrimp cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce, finished with fresh parsley and lemon juice. Perfect for weeknights or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic with butter and set aside. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and swirl to coat.
  4. Add shrimp in a single layer and sear for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and golden.
  5. Add the garlic butter mixture to the skillet and stir constantly until melted and fragrant, about 1–2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, add lemon juice, and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  7. Serve immediately with crusty bread, pasta, or rice.

Notes

  • Do not overcook the shrimp to keep them tender.
  • Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
  • Garnish with extra parsley for a pop of color.
