Ingredients

  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, uncooked rice, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chopped onion, beef broth, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Lightly grease a baking dish.
  4. Pour the mixture into the baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 50 minutes.
  6. Remove foil, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until melted.
  7. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
