- 500 grams ground beef
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, uncooked rice, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chopped onion, beef broth, salt, and black pepper.
- Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Pour the mixture into the baking dish and spread evenly.
- Cover with foil and bake for 50 minutes.
- Remove foil, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until melted.
- Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
