- 12 large fresh strawberries
- 1 cup shelled pistachios, finely crushed
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1.5 cups dark or milk chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- Optional: sea salt for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare a parchment-lined tray and set up a double boiler or microwave-safe bowl for melting chocolate.
- In a bowl, mix the crushed pistachios with honey until a thick paste forms.
- Slice the stems off the strawberries and hollow the centers using a small knife or corer.
- Fill each hollowed strawberry with the pistachio mixture using a piping bag or spoon.
- Melt chocolate with coconut oil until smooth and glossy.
- Dip each stuffed strawberry in chocolate, letting excess drip off, and place on the tray.
- Sprinkle extra pistachios and optional sea salt on top before the chocolate sets.
- Chill for at least 15 minutes until the chocolate is firm. Serve chilled.
