Description

Decadent dark chocolate raspberry bars with a buttery crust, rich ganache layer, and tart raspberry preserves — a perfect balance of sweet and tangy.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup raspberry preserves
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Fresh raspberries (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add flour and salt, mixing until a crumbly dough forms.
  4. Press dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 18–20 minutes or until lightly golden. Let cool slightly.
  5. Spread raspberry preserves evenly over the crust while it’s still warm.
  6. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream until just simmering. Pour over dark chocolate chips and let sit 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
  7. Pour chocolate ganache over the raspberry layer and spread evenly. Chill for at least 1 hour until set.
  8. Slice into bars and garnish with fresh raspberries if desired.

  • Chill bars completely before slicing for clean edges.
