Description

Dairy-free lactation support cookies packed with almond butter, oats, flax, and brewers yeast. Nutritious, delicious, and designed to support breastfeeding moms while satisfying your sweet tooth.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy almond butter
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 3 tablespoons ground flax
  • ⅓ cup brewers yeast
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup dairy-free chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix almond butter, egg, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine rolled oats, ground flax, brewers yeast, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until well combined.
  5. Fold in the dairy-free chocolate chips.
  6. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, place cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cookies are lightly golden on the edges.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Brewers yeast supports lactation, but adjust the amount if needed based on taste preference.
  • Almond butter can be substituted with other nut or seed butters if desired.
