Ingredients

  • 4 chicken cutlets, pounded evenly
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream


Instructions

  1. Place a large skillet over medium heat to preheat.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, half the parmesan, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Dredge each chicken cutlet thoroughly.
  3. Heat olive oil in the skillet. Cook chicken cutlets 4–5 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Set aside on a wire rack.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and remaining parmesan. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Season sauce to taste, then return chicken to skillet or drizzle sauce over plated chicken.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
