Crispy parmesan chicken served with a rich, creamy garlic parmesan sauce. A comforting and satisfying dish that’s quick, crowd-pleasing, and full of flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 chicken cutlets, pounded evenly
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Place a large skillet over medium heat to preheat.
- In a bowl, mix flour, half the parmesan, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Dredge each chicken cutlet thoroughly.
- Heat olive oil in the skillet. Cook chicken cutlets 4–5 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Set aside on a wire rack.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and remaining parmesan. Simmer until thickened.
- Season sauce to taste, then return chicken to skillet or drizzle sauce over plated chicken.
- Serve hot with your favorite sides.
Notes
- Pat chicken dry before dredging for extra crispiness.
- Use fresh parmesan for better flavor and crust.
- Don’t overcrowd the pan — cook in batches if needed.
- Let chicken rest a few minutes before serving for juicier results.
