- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 4 cardamom pods
- 4 whole cloves
- 1 star anise

- Whipped cream, for topping
Instructions
- Warm a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Add water, cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods, cloves, star anise, ground ginger, and nutmeg. Bring to a simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the black tea bags and steep for 3 to 5 minutes until strong and fragrant.
- Remove tea bags and pour in the milk and honey. Stir and bring back to a gentle simmer.
- Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, letting flavors meld.
- Strain the mixture into mugs using a fine mesh strainer.
- Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg or cinnamon.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
