- 500 grams boneless skinless chicken, cut into bite sized pieces
- 1 cup fresh broccoli florets
- 1 large bell pepper, sliced
- 1 medium carrot, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 cups cooked white rice
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium high heat until hot.
- In a small bowl combine soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch and mix until smooth.
- Add a small amount of oil to the hot pan and swirl to coat the surface.
- Add the chicken pieces and cook until lightly golden and nearly cooked through.
- Add garlic, broccoli florets, sliced carrot, and sliced bell pepper to the pan and stir fry for several minutes until vegetables are slightly tender but still crisp.
- Pour the sauce mixture into the pan and stir continuously until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and vegetables.
- Cook for one more minute so the flavors blend together.
- Serve immediately over warm cooked white rice.

- Prepare all ingredients before cooking because stir frying happens quickly.
- Use high heat to get better searing on the chicken and vegetables.
