- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup diced carrots
- ½ cup diced yellow onion
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, milk, and melted butter until just combined.
- Pour remaining melted butter into a 9×13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
- Layer diced chicken, peas, carrots, and onion over the butter. Sprinkle dried thyme over the top. Pour chicken broth evenly over the mixture.
- Gently spoon the biscuit batter over the filling without stirring.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until the top is golden brown and filling is bubbling.
- Let cobbler rest for 10 minutes to thicken.
