Description

Golden, crispy chicken fillets stuffed with gooey mozzarella and savory ham, baked in garlic butter for the ultimate comfort food dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 large chicken fillets, skinless and flattened
  • 8 slices of ham
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment.
  2. Lay 2 slices of ham and a generous amount of shredded mozzarella on each flattened chicken fillet. Sprinkle with garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the base of your baking dish.
  4. Roll the chicken tightly, securing the edges with toothpicks or kitchen twine. Place seam-side down in the dish.
  5. Melt the remaining butter and drizzle it over the chicken rolls.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and fully cooked.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Spoon buttery juices over the top before serving.
