Description

This Caramel Apple Dip Board is a fun, shareable dessert platter that combines creamy caramel dip with crisp apple slices and a variety of toppings. Perfect for parties, holidays, or family nights, this board is customizable, delicious, and easy to assemble.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup caramel syrup (ice cream topping), plus extra for drizzling
  • 4 ounces Cool Whip
  • 45 apples
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles
  • 1/4 cup crushed pretzels
  • Optional: skewers, graham crackers, pretzels, lemon juice (for apple slices)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  2. Fold in Cool Whip, then stir in 1/4 cup caramel syrup until well combined.
  3. Spread the caramel dip mixture into a serving bowl or dish. Drizzle with extra caramel syrup.
  4. Slice apples just before serving. To prevent browning, toss slices lightly in lemon juice if desired.
  5. Arrange apples on a platter with the dip in the center. Place toppings (chocolate chips, nuts, sprinkles, crushed pretzels) in small bowls or directly on the board.
  6. Optional: Add skewers, graham crackers, or pretzels for dipping.
  7. Serve immediately and let everyone dip apple slices into caramel dip and roll in their favorite toppings.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese and light whipped topping.
  • Prepare the dip up to a day ahead and refrigerate; stir before serving.
  • Use a variety of apples for color and flavor contrast (Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, Gala).
