Description

Crispy, juicy brown sugar chicken tenders glazed with a sticky sweet and savory sauce that clings to every bite. Quick to make, crowd-pleasing, and bursting with rich flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds boneless chicken tenders
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Add chicken tenders to the bowl and toss to coat well.
  4. Lightly oil the skillet and place coated chicken tenders in, leaving space between each.
  5. Cook for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Pour remaining marinade into the skillet and simmer until it thickens into a glaze.
  7. Turn tenders in the sauce to coat completely. Optionally, broil for 2 minutes for extra caramelization.
  8. Serve warm with extra sauce drizzled over if desired.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add crushed red pepper to the marinade.
  • Use a cast iron skillet for even cooking and better caramelization.
  • If the sauce thickens too much, add a splash of water to loosen it.
