Description
Juicy and flavorful Brazilian Beef Kebabs made with marinated sirloin, colorful bell peppers, and onions. Perfect for grilling and easy weeknight meals.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 pounds beef sirloin, cubed
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, olive oil, lime juice, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the cubed beef and mix well. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes.
- Thread the beef, red pepper, green pepper, and onion pieces alternately onto skewers.
- Grill the kebabs for 8 to 10 minutes, turning every few minutes, until the beef is charred on the outside and cooked to desired doneness.
- Let the kebabs rest for 5 minutes before serving. Squeeze extra lime juice if desired.
Notes
- Marinate overnight for deeper flavor.
- Use metal skewers to skip the soaking step.
- Leftovers make great wraps or stir-fry add-ins.
