Description

This Banana Split Milkshake takes the classic sundae and spins it into a creamy, dreamy drink. With bananas, ice cream, chocolate and strawberry swirls, and all the toppings, it’s nostalgia in a glass.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry syrup
  • 1/4 cup pineapple tidbits with a little juice
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • 2 maraschino cherries
  • 2 tablespoons chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Place serving glasses in the freezer to chill while you blend.
  2. Add bananas, vanilla ice cream, milk, chocolate syrup, strawberry syrup, and pineapple tidbits into a blender.
  3. Ensure the blender jar is clean and dry before blending.
  4. Blend until smooth and creamy, adjusting milk for desired thickness.
  5. Pour into chilled glasses.
  6. Top with whipped cream, chopped nuts, and a maraschino cherry.
  7. Serve immediately with a straw and spoon.

Notes

  • Use frozen bananas for a thicker, creamier shake.
  • Chill glasses ahead to keep the shake frosty longer.
  • Swirl chocolate or strawberry syrup inside the glass for a decorative touch.
