Description

Creamy, cheesy, and ultra comforting, this baked cream cheese chicken is the ultimate easy dinner. Tender chicken thighs are smothered in a rich cream cheese and mozzarella topping, then baked until golden and bubbly.


Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Place chicken thighs in the baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over each piece of chicken. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top.
  5. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove foil and bake for another 15 to 20 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked and top is golden.
  7. Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
