Description

This Baked Brie with Fig Jam and Maple Pecans is a warm, melty showstopper wrapped in golden puff pastry and topped with sticky jam, crunchy maple pecans, and a hint of fresh thyme. Perfect for entertaining or cozy nights in.


Ingredients

  • 1 wheel brie cheese (8 oz)
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 3 tablespoons fig jam
  • 1/2 cup raw pecan halves
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 23 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 1 egg, beaten


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small saucepan, toast pecans over low heat for 2 minutes. Add maple syrup and stir to coat. Cook another 1–2 minutes until glossy. Set aside.
  3. Place puff pastry on prepared baking sheet. Set brie in center.
  4. Spread fig jam on top of the brie, then layer with maple pecans and thyme leaves.
  5. Fold pastry over the brie, sealing edges. Brush with beaten egg.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
